Upon seeing Dream Land and Kirby return to normal, Fluff has to return to his own kingdom, but gives Kirby the magic sock so that they can see each other whenever they wish. Kirby and Prince Fluff set off to save Dream Land, and defeat Yin-Yarn in two distinct battles, the latter of which involves the Tankbot transformation. Prince Fluff reveals that he owns the matching pair to Yin-Yarn's magic sock, and now that Patch Land is restored, it can be used to travel between the two lands. However, Meta Knight explains that Yin-Yarn transformed Dream Land into yarn while Kirby was away. Once seven pieces of Magic Yarn are collected, Patch Land is saved, and Kirby presumes his work finished. Additionally, after clearing Treat Land, the two engage in a no-holds-barred giant cake-eating contest, but the monstrous cake collapses on them in the process due to a poor eating strategy. Seeing this, Prince Fluff shakes the tree to show Kirby how it's done, but this makes Kirby fall off, and he angrily chases Fluff around in response. The Magic Yarn stitches Quilty Square and Grass Land back together. After Kirby learns the ropes in Patch Castle, Prince Fluff is attacked by a giant blob of yarn called Lickeur who tries to swallow him, and Kirby defeats it, finding the first piece of Magic Yarn. Prince Fluff takes Kirby to his castle to help get him acquainted with the way things work in Patch Land. From this point onwards, he can be controlled by the second player of the game. After Kirby saves Fluff, the latter reveals his name and position as the ruler of Patch Land. Kirby, who was recently sucked into Patch Land by Yin-Yarn's magical sock, turns into a car to save him. In Kirby's Epic Yarn, Prince Fluff is first seen being terrorized by a monster at the beginning of the game. Though he is brave, Prince Fluff is also somewhat prideful. Fluff is also noble and courageous, demonstrated by his determination to defeat Yin-Yarn and bring peace to the inhabitants of Patch Land. When Kirby grows hungry, Fluff teaches him how to forage for food in Patch Land. When Kirby arrives at Patch Land, Prince Fluff welcomes him and shows him around Patch Castle so that he does not feel lost. Prince Fluff is friendly and helpful throughout his adventure with Kirby. His facial expression is often confident and determined. Unlike Kirby, Fluff has large felt eyebrows and no cheek blush, and the scleras of his eyes are visible. Fluff has a cyan body and orange feet made entirely from strings of yarn and he wears a yellow felt crown which denotes his royal title. Prince Fluff has very similar proportions to Kirby, being small, round, and having large glossy brown eyes. Here, Kirby has grabbed Prince Fluff, who takes on the form of a baseball and can be tossed. Prince Fluff has all of the same abilities as Kirby in Kirby's Epic Yarn.
